At 11:30 am on January 31, China’s first non-government medical rescue team, organized by Chinese Association Non-government Medical Institutions, arrived at Wuhan Hanyang Hospital and officially started the rescue work.

The rescue team participated in training immediately when settled.

It is known that the medical rescue team consists of 14 medical personnel, including 5, 3, 6 members respectively from Qingdao Sida Heart Hospital, Qingdao Yi Shengjian Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Bone Hospital and Luoyang 10th Hospital.

The Qingdao Detachment and Luoyang Detachment arrived at Hanyang Hospital.

Medicals from Qingdao and Luoyang drove ambulances to Wuhan in 16 hours and 7 hours respectively. Upon arrival at Wuhan Hanyang Hospital, they immediately received training and went on duty to provide support. In order not to add to the burden of the hospital, the accompanying team members also brought their own food and diapers for better work.

Since the Epidemic outbreak in Wuhan, the number of emergency treatment and fever outpatients in Wuhan Hanyang Hospital has increased more than 20 times, and the number of inpatients has also increased fivefold. The hospital medical staff is in a state of overload.

Chen jie, President of Hanyang Hospital, said that medical workers in Luoyang, Qingdao and Luoyang offered a helping hand at the critical moment and effectively alleviated the pressure of treatment. He hoped that the medicals who came to support should take care of themselves and strive to win the war against the epidemic shoulder by shoulder with the people of Wuhan at an early date.
